A superb quality pure wool Persian 'Shiraz' rug from the South West area of Persia in superb condition, newly cleaned ready for use c.1900. The hand knotted pure wool tufted pile with a soft red gr...ound with geometric medallion to the centre section and interlinked geometric floral design decoration sat around the edge. Dark blue insets to the corners with triple border to the outer edge and champagne cream background to the wider centre border. Presented in excellent used condition and in newly cleaned stain free condition. Measures 42.5" wide x 62" long. Stock number 42094.
