Persian Pure Wool Rug

An antique Persian pure wool rug from the Hamadan area of Persia in superb unworn condition c.1900. Deep pink ground with geometric medallion to the centre and interlinked stylised floral decoration to the ground. Infills to the corners with dark blue ground and triple border to the edge. Hand knotted with a thick pile, presented in superb unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Measures 79" long x 38" wide. Stock number 40843.
