A quality Persian pure wool Melayer rug with all over interlinked pattern typical of the Hamadan area of Persia, newly cleaned ready for use c.1920.  The hand knotted close short pile with interlinked floral design repeated to the main section of the rug in champagne, black and dark red. Red and champagne floral border to the outer edge. Presented in excellent ware and stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Measures 51" long x 29.5" wide.  Stock number 42041.
