A quality hand knotted Persian Malayer pure wool rug with champagne cream background; from the North West area of Persia c.1920. Close hand knotted pure wool pile with champagne cream background and a large red medallion to the centre surrounded by an interlocking geometric floral design in blues, dark reds and golds. Narrow dark red border to the edge, which complements the central medallion design. Presented in excellent unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Measures 64" long x 34" wide.
