Persian 6' 9" Long Wool Runner
A superb quality antique Persian pure wool hand knotted runner in excellent unworn newly cleaned condition c.1910. The close deep hand knotted pile with rich dark red background and medallions to each end surrounded by geometric floral design sprays in tones of champagne, pinks and blues. Double border to the outer edge with champagne background and geometric decoration; the design typical of the Hamadan area of Persia. Presented in excellent unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Measures 81" long x 28.5" wide. Stock number 42097.
