Pair of silver Victorian Champagne Bottle Peppers
A matching pair of collectable Victorian solid silver champagne bottle pepper pots with superb details, hallmarked Birmingham 1893. Fashioned in the form of a pair of champagne bottles with superb detail to the removeable corks bound with wire, each forming the shaker with small holes to each. One engraved 'Pour Tout' (for all) along with initials to the rear in the same font. Engraving to the neck of each mimicking the bottles foil stopper wrapping. Each bears the makers mark for highly regarded Birmingham silversmiths Nathan & Ridley Hayes along with clear hallmarks to all s...ections. Each presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Each measures 3.25" tall x 1" diameter at the base. Stock number 40419.
