A Fine Pair of Late Regency period antique oil on canvas portraits of a lady & gentleman.c.1830. Each sat in the original pollard oak deep surround frames. Each painting inscribed to the reverse,'George Heafield, of Langley Mill (Derbyshire) died 1837' married 'Sarah Jewsbury, Langley Mill ( Derbyshire) born 1782, died 1858. More than likely these portraits were commissioned on the their marriage. No repairs or damage. Good colour. Superb frames. Each measures 25" x 30" overall.
