Pair of Moorcroft Liberty's Flaminian Ware Vases
A pair of Moorcroft 'Flaminian ware' vases made for Liberty and signed William Moorcroft to the base c.1910. Both identically potted vases with tapering bodies and rolled over necks. Four tube line...d roundels in typical Liberty style set equally around the top of each vase. Each vase glazed in a semi translucent red glaze with hints of pink; as with most pairs each vase slightly different in colour tone. Each vase with inscribed William Moorcroft signature to the base and made for Liberty marks. Both vases presented in perfect unrestored condition with no damage. Each measures 6" wide at the widest point x 4" diameter at the base x 12" high. Stock number 42136.
