Pair of Fine Quality Victorian Silver Candlesticks
A matching pair of fine quality Victorian silver candlesticks with embossed decoration, hallmarked Sheffield 1899. The square bases with gadrooned design decoration to the edges, leaf and shell embossed decoration to the centre section, rising to meet the square vase shaped column above with matching decoration. The candle sconces with leaf decoration below the rim, removable square drip rims sat above. Each bearing the makers mark for Sheffield silversmith Henry Wigfull and presented in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and a deep shine. Each measures 3.25" squar...e at the base x 6.5" high. Stock number 39115.
