A matching pair of fine quality Victorian engraved solid silver peppers, hallmarked London 1886. Spherical form, each with a circular flared base which unscrews to fill the pepper pot. The exterior... of each with star decoration and finial the top along with small holes to dispense the pepper; the lower halves engraved with scroll design decoration. Each bears the makers mark for London silversmith Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.25" diameter x 1.75" high. Stock number 40546.
