An outstanding quality Edwardian solid Austrian silver cheroot case with enamel work scene of a young girl to the front c.1910. The heavy quality solid silver case slightly curved in form with rounded sides and corners for comfort in the pocket. The front of the case enamelled with a young maid stood on steps in traditional costume, a basket with washing behind; outstanding detail and colour to the scene. The case opening by catch release to reveal a clean gilt lined interior, Austrian silver marks and import marks c.1910. The finest quality presented in immaculate condition ...with a deep shine along with perfect unworn enamel work. Measures 3.25" high x 2.25" wide x 0.5" deep. Stock number 39429.
