An outstanding quality Victorian domed top brass bound jewellery box with ebony and fruitwood inlays and original fitted interior C1880. The choice figured burr veneered exterior bound with decorative... engraved brass fittings, the centres inset with inlays of ebony and colourful fruitwoods in a floral design. The hinged opening dome top opening to reveal a s superb original fully fitted interior with two leather and velvet lined trays for holding the jewellery and a matching fitted base section. Matching velvet to the lid interior. Working lock and key. Presented in immaculate original condition with a deep shine and original patina, the best we have ever owned. Measures 12" wide x 9" deep x 6" high. Stock number 36772
