Outstanding Quality Silver Candle Snuffers and Tray
An outstanding quality pair of solid silver candle snuffers and matching tray by Barnards, hallmarked Sheffield and London 1823-26. The scissor action snuffer with Rocco style castings and engravings and stood on small feet, bears the makers mark for Barnards and the hallmark for Sheffield 1823. The matching design cast silver tray with scalloped rim and engraved centre bearing Barnards makers mark and hallmarked London 1926. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Snuffers measures 7" long x 2" wide. Tray measures 9.75" long x 4.25 " wide. Stock number 36324.
