An Outstanding George II period figured walnut secretaire chest on chest.c.1730. Book matched veneers and fruitwood inlay throughout. Canted reeded corners to the top. Three small over three long drawers to the moulded cornice top. Pull out secretaire drawer with fitted interior. Inset leather writing surface. Original brass fittings and bracket feet. Superb colour and patina. Measures 42" x 22" x 73.5"high. Stock no.29979.
