An Outstanding George I period figured walnut escritoire. c.1720. Book matched veneers and herringbone inlay to the front. Cross banded throughout. Original well fitted interior with a selection of dr...awers. Moulded cornice to the top with secret drawer. Two short over two long drawers to the base. Sat on turned bun feet. Original brass fittings. Superb colour, patina and condition. Measures 44" x 20.5"deep x 67"high. Stock no.32078.
