Outstanding 19th Century Tortiseshell & Gilt Clock

An Outstanding 19th Century tortoiseshell and gilt ormolu trimmed mantel clock.c.1870. Convex enamel dial and brass bezel surround. 8 Day Paris made movement striking on the hour and half. Superb domed top case with gilt brass fretwork panels to the sides and pateras to the front .Carry handle to the top. Standing on brass reeded feet. Full working order. Superb quality and patina. Measures 8.5" x 5.5" x 14"high.
