A small George I period oak three panelled coffer in superb original unrestored condition c.1720. The two panel top with stop moulded frame and original hook and eye hinges. Matching stop moulded frame to the front, with lunettes carved to the top rail and sunbursts to the three panels. Original lock plate, sat on full length stiles with matching panelled sides. The lid opening to reveal a clean interior, candle box with lid set to the side and moulded edges to the framework. Superb original rich colour and patina, presented in excellent original condition.
