A superb quality Victorian turned oak cased aneroid barometer with porcelain enamel dial by highly regarded maker Negretti & Zambra; fully serviced and working c.1885. The broad flared turned English figured oak case with superb colour and original patina. Porcelain enamel dial with weather predictions along with the makers name and serial number, sat over an aneroid movement. Cast polished brass bezel with inset glass view window and reading marker adjustment knob set to the centre. Presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 8.75" diameter wi...th a 5" dial x 2.5" deep. Stock number 41085.
