Negretti & Zambra Marine Barometer with Compass
A Negretti & Zambra brass cased marine barometer with engraved silvered scale and inset compass in full working order c.1885. Dished polished brass case with hanging loop to the top; matching polished brass bezel with original glass, reading marker to the centre. Rapid indicating aneroid movement sat behind a engraved silvered scale with rare inset compass set to the top half, bears the makers name of highly regarded instrument maker Negretti & Zambra, London. Presented in excellent original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 5" diameter x 2.25"... deep x 6.5" high including hanging loop. Stock number 40562.
