A late Victorian Negretti & Zambra steel and brass cased fisherman's barometer with engraved silvered scale in full working order c.1890. Black steel case with cast brass fitting and securing brackets to the sides; matching cast brass bezel with original glass, reading marker knob to the centre. Rapid indicating aneroid movement sat behind a engraved silvered scale, bears the makers name of highly regarded instrument maker Negretti & Zambra. Presented in excellent original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 8" diameter x 3" deep. Stock number 39...973.
