An outstanding quality antique silver vinaigrette depicting the Scott monument, Edinburgh, by sought after silversmith Nathaniel Mills, hallmarked Birmingham 1889. Oblong form with scalloped edges to the top and base, concaved sides. The lid with a fine engraving of the Scott monument, Edinburgh. Decorative engraved sides and base. The hinged lid opening to reveal a polished gilded interior with hinged engraved and fretted cover. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded and sought after maker Nathaniel Mills. Presented in immaculate unused condition, very collectable item. Measures 2" long x... 1" wide x 0.35" deep. Stock number 34528.
