Moorcroft Orchid Flambe Bowl
An immaculate Moorcroft 'Slipper Orchid' flambe glazed bowl signed Walter Moorcroft to the base c.1940's. The interior of the bowl decorated with a continuous band of tube lined slipper orchids pai...nted in yellows, reds and purples with soft green stems. Two panels of matching tube lined orchids painted to either side of the exterior. Lightly flambe glazed with red speckles to the base of the interior flowing to muted russet browns at the rim and the exterior. Signed Walter Moorcroft to the base along with Moorcroft factory impressions. Presented in immaculate perfect condition with no scratches or chips. Measures 6.5" diameter at the rim x 3" high.
