Moorcroft Macintyre Poppies Twin Handle Vase
An impressive Moorcroft Macintyre yellow poppies design twin handled vase signed William Moorcroft to the base in perfect condition c.1910. Superbly potted with bulbous base and inverted neck, plus handles set to each side. The lower half of the vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined panels in typical Florian style in tones of blue, green and yellows, with a complementing band of tube lined open yellow poppy heads sat above. The neck of the vase decorated with tube lined poppies; the stems and leaves in colours to match the lower half of the vase. Bears the Macintyre ...factory mark to the base along with William Moorcrofts signature in green. Presented in perfect condition with no restoration or scratches. Measures 7.5" maximum width x 8" high. Stock number 42119.
