A Moorcroft leaf and berries flambe cup and saucer, signed William Moorcroft c.1930. The wide rimmed tea cup with loop handle set to the side. The exterior decorated with a continuous band of ...tube lined autumn leaves and berries, matching band of berries to the rim of the interior. The saucer decorated to match; painted throughout in autumn colours and glazed in a rich red flambe glaze; the interior of the cup painted in deep purple. Signed and impressed with William Moorcrofts signature along with an early Royal appointment label. Presented in perfect unrestored condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 5.5" maximum diameter at the saucer x 3.5" diameter at the cup rim x 3" high. Stock number 38912.
