Moorcroft Flambe Slipper Orchid Vase
An immaculate Moorcroft 'Slipper Orchid' flambe glazed vase signed William Moorcroft c.1930's. Baluster shape with flared rim and rolled foot. The vase superbly decorated with a continuous band of ...tube lined slipper orchids with the stems running from the foot of the vase. The flowers painted in soft reds, pinks and blues with golden yellow stems overglazed with a light flambe glaze. Bears the impressed William Moorcroft signature to the base; used from 1928 until the mid 1930's. Presented in immaculate perfect condition with no damage or restoration. Measures 6" high x 3.75" diameter at the widest point. Stock number CB1294.
