Moorcroft Coffee Cup and Saucer
An early Moorcroft pomegranate pattern coffee cup and saucer, signed William Moorcroft c.1919. The flat sided 'can' style cup with loop handle set to the side, decorated with a continuous band of tube lined pomegranates set against a dark blue ground; the pomegranates painted in deep reds and ochre tones. The matching saucer decorated to match the cup, both pieces signed in blue, W Moorcroft along with factory impressions indicating a date of manufacture c.1919. Presented in perfect unrestored condition with no chips or scratches. Measures 2.75" high overall x 4.25" saucer diamet...er x 2" cup diameter. Stock number 38910.
