A mid Victorian highland cattle horn dinner gong with oak plinth and quality silver plated fittings c.1880. Golden solid oak oval shaped plinth forming the base with a turned strikin...g hammer resting on silver plated fittings. Original highland cattle horns in silver plated mounts, which support the circular silver plated gong. Silver plated fittings and blank cartouche to the base. Superb condition. Measures 18" wide x 7.5" deep x 16" high. Stock number CS322.
