Mid Victorian Foliage Carved Banjo Barometer
A mid Victorian polished oak banjo barometer of smaller proportions c.1880. Porcelain dial with coloured lettering to the weather predictions. Brass bezel surround with bevelled edge glass and centre reading marker pointer. Matching porcelain thermometer scale above with mercury action thermometer. Solid oak case with foliage carved decoration to the smaller sized case. Presented in immaculate condition. Full working order. Measures 9" wide x 2.5" deep x 29.5" long. Stock no. 37876.
