A Top Quality Mid Victorian figured walnut stick barometer.c.1880. Bone inverted scales with double vernier marker for yesterday and today readings. Matching bone thermometer scale to the centre. Carved decoration to the shaped pediment top and cistern covered base. Made by J. Cail of Newcastle(w.1855-85). Full working order. Superb condition. Measures 7" x 3"deep x 41"long. Stock no.30684.
