Mid Victorian Coromandel Inlaid Sewing Box
A Mid Victorian coromandel and mother of pearl inlaid sewing box.c.1870. Lift out fitted tray to the interior to reveal a silk lined compartment below. The purple silk lined tray fitted with lidded compartments, pin cushions, mother of pearl bobbin holders and needle cases. Fall front panel to the back. Mother of pearl inlay to the top and front of the coromandel case. Brass stringing to the surround. Superb colour and patina. Measures 11.5" x 8.5" deep x 5.75" high. Stock no.CB1255.
