A mid Victorian burr walnut & brass trimmed tea caddy c.1870. Choice burr walnut veneers to the exterior, the domed top with brass mounted decoration and bone inset to the centre..., matching decoration to the front. Opens to reveal a two section solid walnut lidded interior with ebony edging, original blue silk lining to the lid interior. Presented in excellent condition with a superb colour and patina. Measures 8" wide x 5" deep x 5.5" high. Stock number 38661.
