A matching pair of top quality late Victorian George III style figured walnut mirrors with carved and parcel gilt decoration c.1900. Each mirror with figured veneers and fretted decoration to the top forming a pediment, carved and fretted Prince of Wales feathers to the centre. Complementing apron to the base and carved floral decoration to the sides. The mirror edge with scalloped design forming a boarder and carved mask to the edge with original gilt finish. Each mirror with original glass giving a period look. Original boarded back with secure wall hanging fixings, each mirror prese...nted in excellent condition with a rich colour and original patina, original gilt decoration in excellent condition. Each measures 19" wide x 1.25" deep x 38" high. Stock number 39967.
