Late Victorian Walnut Cased 8 Day English Dial Clock
A late Victorian walnut cased 8 day English dial clock with Anglo-Swiss movement. C.1900. Moulded frame to the solid walnut case, with matching back box. Door to the bottom for access to the movement. Painted 12" dial with Roman numerals sat behind a glazed window set in a brass opening bezel. Anglo-Swiss type 8 day movement with anchor escapement, in full working order. Superb original polish to the case. Measures 15" diameter x 5" deep. Stock number 33571.
