Late Victorian Table Top Lantern Clock
A stylish late Victorian brass cased table top lantern clock with 8 day timepiece in full working order c.1900. Fashioned in the form of a lantern clock with bell sat in a cradle to the top, decorative finials to the corners and cast frets sat in between forming a pediment. The engraved dial centre with tulip design decoration, the chapter ring with Roman numerals. Polished brass sides and hinged opening door to the rear, small turned feet to the base to match the finials. The 8 day movement with platform escapement in fully serviced and working order. Excellent quality and condition with a... rich polish. Measures 4" wide x 4" deep x 10" high to the top of the case. Stock number 39963.
