Late Victorian Oak Cased English Dial Clock
A superior quality late Victorian solid oak cased English dial clock with 8" dial and 8" movement, fully serviced and working c.1890. Moulded edge figured oak surround to the dial with matching back box, access door to the base. Original painted 8" dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands set behind a glazed view window, which is mounted in a hinged opening polished brass bezel. The 8 day W&H movement with anchor escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine to the case. Measures 11" diameter x 8" dial x 5" deep.
