Late Victorian Mahogany Two Bottle Tantalus
An immaculate late Victorian inlaid mahogany two bottle tantalus with original cut crystal decanters and quality silver plated fittings c.1900. Mahogany base section to retain the two decanters, the front panel inlaid with a fruitwood sunburst and strung with boxwood, plus decorative silver plated straps set to the corners. Fretted sides with quality silver plated locking bar to the top; carrying handle to the centre and original working locking catch with two keys to the sides. The original cut crystal decanters with hobnail design decoration and matching stoppers in mint co...ndition. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine along with working lock and keys. Measures 12" wide x 6.25" deep x 12" high to top of handle. Stock number 41419.
