Late Victorian Mahogany Stick Barometer
A quality slim proportioned Victorian figured mahogany stick barometer fully restored and working c.1880. The quality casework with stepped cornice and cushion top and glazed door to the barometer scale. Slim trunk with figured mahogany veneers and moulded edges. The cistern cover with fruitwood stringing and turned patera to the centre. Engraved silvered barometer scale with mercury action stick barometer tube set to the centre and red alcohol thermometer to the side. A high quality, slim proportioned instrument presented in immaculate condition, fully overh...auled and working. Measures 37" long x 3.75" maximum width x 2" wide at the trunk x 2" maximum depth.
