Late Victorian Mahogany Fusee Dial Clock
A late Victorian mahogany cased 8 day single fusee English dial clock with original painted dial C.1900. Moulded mahogany surround to the dial edge with matching back box, access door to the base and the side. Hinged brass bezel to the glazed door with original painted 12" dial bearing the makers name Wagstaff, Forrest Town (Mansfield, Nottinghamshire) 8 day single fusee movement behind with anchor escapement and original chain drive. Fully overhauled movement. Presented in excellent condition with original polish and rich colour. Measures 15" diameter x 6" deep. Stock number 36285.
