Late Victorian Globe Wernicke Oak Filling Cabinet
A superior quality late Victorian solid polished oak tambour front file C.1900. Moulded front edge below the polished surface, panelled sides and falling tambour front with original copper cup handles. The tambour front opening to reveal a ten drawer interior with original copper label holders forming the handle. The top drawers opening with fall fronts for ease of use, each taking A4 paper or files, the lower drawers with fixed fronts. Bears the original makers label for Globe Wernicke Co. Working lock and key, superb condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures 43" high x 17.5" ...wide x 16.5" deep. Stock number 34590.
