Late Victorian Burr Walnut Library Wall Clock

A high quality late Victorian burr walnut library wall clock with silvered dial and 8 day movement. Burr walnut veneered case with ebony and fruitwood strung edges. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind a engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, bears the retailers name Stewart, Glasgow. Hinged glazed door with cast brass bezel and snap closing catch. Superb quality and condition, fully overhauled movement. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 7" diameter x 3" deep. Stock number 36722.
