Late Georgian Cowrie and Tortoise Shell Silver Mounted Snuff
A late George III period cowrie shell and silver snuff box C.1800. Domed top formed by the cowrie shell with silver mount, matching silver mount to the base with tortoise shell base. Snap closing opening on a hinge revealing a clean interior. Excellent condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures 1.75" long x 1.25" wide x 0.75" high. Stock number 34746.
