A large Victorian carved timber gilt mirror with original finish and mirror glass c.1885. The outer carved and fretted timber boarder with scroll and leaf design and original gilt finish;... angled slightly to give a cushion effect. Gadrooned boarder to the mirror edge with original inset quarter plate glass in excellent clear condition. Original boarded back with secure hanging chain; can be displayed in portrait or landscape positions. Presented in good original condition. Measures 42" wide x 32" high x 2.5" deep. Stock number 39775.
