Large Victorian Skeletonised Dished Case Marine Barometer
A large and difficult to find late Victorian dished brass cased marine barometer with skeletonised movement c.1890. The large dished ring turned polished brass case with hanging loop to the top, plus silvered back to the interior with a high quality skeletonised movement set to the centre. The scale reverse painted onto the glass view window along with the retailers name 'John Blake' and address 'Oxford St Works, Accrington' painted above and below the central reading marker. Excellent original condition with a deep shine and in full working order. Measures 8" diameter x 9" h...igh including hanging loop x 2.25" depth. Stock number 42316.
