Large Victorian Silver Wax Seal
A large Victorian cast silver seal with fretted handle and engraved S to the seal, London import marks for 1890. Formed in two sections of cast silver, the tapering oval handle with floral scroll design decoration; engraved and hand finished to a high standard. The circular base forming the stamp with polished foot engraved with a large S. Bears London import marks for 1890 along with a faint makers mark. Superb quality and unusually large, presented in superb condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.25" maximum width x 1" diameter at the base x 1" maximum dept...h at the handle x 3.5" long.
