Large Victorian Silver Sweet Tin
A most unusual fine quality Victorian embossed silver sweet tin with gilt lined interior, hallmarked London 1891. Superb embossed and engraved floral design, matching boarder to the outer edge of the base section. Button release to the front and flange to the top half to aid opening. Opens to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior, the retailers name engraved to the lower half inner rim 'Thornhill & Co, 44 New Bond St'. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 6" diameter x 2.25" high. Stock number 37711.
