Large Victorian Majolica Cheese Dish

An impressive large Victorian majolica cheese dish in mint condition c.1880. Deep round cover with salt glazed wood plank design to the top and sides decorated with a rambling rose to the sides and top. The original base with matching design to the edge and a bright blue centre to match the interior of the lid. Excellent condition with no chips or repairs. Measures 13.5" diameter x 12" high including handle. Stock number 36889.
