A large Victorian planished silver circular tobacco box with squeeze opening, hallmarked Birmingham 1894. The circular solid silver box with rounded sides and planished finish to all surfaces. The ...inset lid with concealed hinge and blank cartouche to the centre. The lid opens by squeezing the sides, with a clean gilt finish to the interior. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths A & J Zimmerman along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Measures 3.5" diameter x 1.1" deep. Stock number 41532.
