A large pre war Moorcroft slipper orchid flambe glazed vase, signed William Moorcroft to the base C1928. Bulbous base with rising neck, fully decorated with a colourful continuous band of orchids and ...leaves. Deep blue at the foot and deep reds fading to purple at the rim. Excellent even flambe glaze with no runs, scratches or damage. Signed William Moorcroft to the base in full and impressed Moorcroft. Measures 8.75" high x 6" wide. Stock number 35713.
