Large Georgian Turned Oak Root Bowl
Large Georgian turned oak root bowl with wonderful colour and patina c.1750. Made from an oak tree root with superb burrs and figures to the timber, hand turned in one piece. Ring turned line to the underside and rounded rim to the edge following the natural edge of the root. Original rich colour and deep polish, presented in superb condition with no cracks or repairs. Measures 17.5" diameter x 4" deep. Stock number 39912.
