Large George V Solid Silver Lamp
A large George V period solid silver table lamp by Walker & Hall in mint condition, hallmarked Sheffield 1913. Heavy square base for stability with decorative embossed acanthus leaf design boarder to the outer edge; the base rising slightly to meet the column above with matching acanthus leaf design mount to the base. Slightly tapering column with Corinthian mount to the top, lamp holder on post set to the top. Heavy quality with a thick gauge silver, with hollow rather than plaster filled column. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and wired with fi...tted plug ready for use. Measures 7.5" square at the base x 15" high to top of column x 20" to top of lampholder.
